The summer did not work out as I planned it. In fact almost no work was done at all. The only work done was on race images, which happen to look amazing!
The team is getting back to work to work on technologies and hopefully some of the models will get textured soon!

Sorry for neglecting the wiki for a month. This summer is going to be very productive. a new member has joined the team: Quinn (race pics). Work on techs is also being done. Another thing i've started on is the planets.

Another important note: i've dropped the RA2 style main console and have started on a new one.

Here's what's happened in the last month (time's been flying this year!). I'm almost finished with the main console. It needs some touching up, but is fully functional. It's not completely done due to the fact that I've halted work on it! Since it's almost time for finals, I don't have hours to put into working on the UI, so we've gone back to tech creation.
We've started on some new weapon techs and of course, the HULL TECHS! Remember, there are 3 hull styles, and between 10 and 20 techs per style! And also remember, each race receives many of their own hull models (some models will be shared). There are some other tech things we're working on, but those are the hilights!

I'm currently working on a new main console for TBL! it's going to resemble the command bar from C&C RA2. It looks amazing. I'll post a screen here and on I-Mod when i feel confident in showing the world what i'm working on. ;)

We've started on the extensive "hull trees" for each of the different hull styles! There are around twenty different hull techs for the first 2 trees that we've started! This mod's really come a long way!

It's been a while since I last gave you people a full update on what's going on with The Bringers
of Light. Here's a summary of what's been done since we've started:

We converted the old DA techs (from TBL's previous releases)
We're constantly adding new techs
We're adding new improvements
We started on new weapons (no models yet)
We started on creating the hulls for the new ship styles. many of these hulls will be airplanes and navy ships

We're working on the new User Interface (looks different but does the same stuff)
We're adding new political parties
We're working on the new races
We've creating new starbase modules
We've created a self-installer

That's a basic summary of just about all that's been done so far. Like i've said previously, the race specific tech trees will not be worked on until the tech tree editor is released by Stardock.

Ed's Ships!

Image	Description
	This is the RA2 styled main console that was created by Dave, for TBL.
Unfinished B-25	This is an american B-25 that i'm texturing for The Bringers of light. The textures not complete, but i figured that people need some screens of the mod!
Concept Turret	This is a conceptual turret that i hope to use for TBL eventually.
Actual Turrent Model	This is a model made in 3d Max
Current Main Menu	after making constant changes and overhauling it 3 times, this is what the TBL main menu currently looks like

Work is coming along smoothly on "The Bringers of Light!" We just finished converting all the techs that were originally in the DA version. Creation of the race specific tech trees is not happing right now since it would be a pointless waste of time, since it can be done quicker and more efficiently once the tech editor is released. For now, we're going to concentrate more on the other aspects of the mod like 3d models, races, and improvemets. Bear in mind, we will not be halting the creation of new techs, just no race specific tech trees yet.
